Thomas Copano also known as Tom Copano was found dead in his cell on September 19, 2011. They found him around 12:30 in the afternoon when corrections officers were making their rounds. He was housed at the James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in Delaware. The cause of death is listed as sudden cardiac arrest due to atherosclerotic and hypertensive cardiovascular disease and obesity. He was 61 years old.
